My name is Mike and I'm a huge fan of movies and all things pop culture including TV, video games and books.

 

My passion for film started at a very young age.  My parents owned a movie store when I was a kid, opening up my world to thousands of movies.

 

I can vividly remember watching countless movies at my parents' video store, many of which I should not have been watching at such a young age. Absorbing every moment of Sly Stallone in Rambo: First Blood Part II at the age of 7 is one that particularly stands out.

 

As many of my friends and family know, I hardly ever shut up about movies and pretty much anything I'm interested in.  Just in case I don't annoy them enough with all my ramblings in person, I now can transcend space and time and annoy them with my movie, TV and video game ramblings through my very own website.

 

I've always wanted a place to collect my reviews and thoughts on some of my interests.  Some websites are good, but have their limitations and obstacles to overcome.  

 

Instead of fussing with it, I decided to create my own.  I'm still learning how everything works, but I hope to update the site often with small movie reviews as well as full reviews.  I will also be including a section for my lists that I love to compile so much, as well as a trailer section and a TV Blog.

 

I'm also hoping to feature some movie reviews from some of my friends, whose passion for film equals my own and can easily be seen in every one of their fantastic reviews.

 

So, please take a look around and I hope you enjoy.  Feel free to bookmark the site as it's probably the easiest way to frequent it.  A simple Google search would most likely come up empty.  What can I say, it's a free site and I'm not upgrading to a higher package.

 

 I would also like to thank my sister Stephanie for helping me with the site.  She designed the graphic that appears on every page, as well as coming up  with some of the button concepts.  I'm sure she will also find many spelling  and punctuation errors.
